Doctrinal Statement

The Bible

The Bible, being given by inspiration of God, is the inerrant and infallible final authority for all matters. The Bible has been providentially preserved in complete purity in the Authorized King James Version of 1611 (KJV). Because the KJV constitutes Holy Scripture, it is "given by inspiration of God". It is therefore superior to all other texts, no higher authority being available to men today.

The Trinity

There is one true God and He is manifest in three distinct persons: the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost. These three are one, without division in nature, essence and being. God is a spiritual, sovereign, eternal, and personal being who is omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent and unchanging. He is the epitome of holiness, righteousness, wisdom and power. He is separate from and superior to His creation.

The Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Word, became man through the virgin birth. He is therefore God manifest in the flesh and the only begotten Son of the Father. Fully God and fully man, Christ gave himself willingly as a perfect sacrifice, shedding His blood and dying on the cross. He was buried, and the third day arose bodily from the dead. He ascended into Heaven victorious over sin and death, today seated at the right hand of the Father. Christ is today the head of the church which is His body.

The Holy Ghost

The divine person of the Holy Ghost in this present dispensation convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. He baptizes, regenerates, indwells, comforts and seals all those who receive Christ by grace through faith.  It is through His guidance and teaching that truths of the Bible are illuminated to believers. As the author of the Bible, the Holy Ghost is the sole authoritative interpreter.

The Fall of Man

Through the transgression of the first man Adam, mankind sinned and became at enmity with God, justly deserving of His wrath and subject to death. All men naturally descended from Adam are therefore by nature justly condemned sinners, containing within themselves no salvific capability. There exists no hope for those who die "in Adam".

Salvation

Salvation is offered as a free gift by the grace of God alone through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ alone. This gospel of Christ’s perfect salvific work on the cross is the power of God unto salvation for all who personally believe it. This salvation is accomplished entirely apart from the works of man and cannot be forfeited.

Right Division

The need to properly appropriate (rightly divide) the word of truth is of paramount importance. As detailed therein, God has administered the world in various ways and through various means (dispensations) throughout history. God’s current method of administration is one of pure grace. Salvation is sent to all nations equally; Israel’s prophesied program being temporarily suspended awaiting future consummation. This present dispensation of grace began historically at the close of the book of Acts, as pronounced in Acts 28:28.
